KUALA LUMPUR, June 10: Real estate agents from major markets have reported a diverse range of factors on what makes the property market in their country a hot cake.
Canada’s Country Head Broker, Yousaf Iqbal revealed that the huge enthusiasm comes from the trend of migrations into the country, as international buyers contribute to its positive market outlook.
“Last year, over 500,000 visitors were recorded coming into Canada, contributing to sales of USD 1.35 trillion, so automatically this will reflect the price of houses.
“With this uptrend, the real estate market continues to grow, with residential houses taking a highlight as we have many foreign buyers who can buy,” Yousad told TVS.
Canada was ranked in the Top 3 countries in sales in IQI’S Global Convention 2024, raking a massive USD 91.8 million in sales.
Yousad noted that other factors include the country’s stability, as buyers are more confident about the economy and are willing to invest in prime locations.
Pakistan echoes a similar sentiment, as Chief Executive Officer of IQI Lahore, Gohar Majid remarked that “in Lahore specifically, the market is exceptionally well with its high-rise buildings, and as a destination its IT market is vast.
“These are the major opportunities to explore,” he said.
On another note, Gohar reiterated that real-estate market brand collaborations with other countries such like Lahore’s with Malaysia also contributed to its value.
The top countries in real-estate sales also include Australia, with USD 97.4 million and Vietnam with USD 67 million. – TVS
