KUCHING, Mar 18: The sixth edition of What About Kuching (WAK 2024) will have a satellite mini festival in Sibu and Miri.
Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) Sarawak, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said it will be held in June and August 2024 respectively.
“This will extend the cultural extravaganza to our creative communities in central and northern Sarawak.
“We should be excited and stay tuned as the respective city councils together with the WAK team will be unveiling further details in the upcoming weeks and months.
,” he said at the conference after launching the WAK 2024 Call For Proposal (CFP) today.
At the same time, he also takes the opportunity to invite all creative communities from all corners of Sarawak to participate in this year’s WAK by submitting their proposals.
He also noted that MTCP will continue its support in this community-driven extravaganza.
