MIRI, Mar 3: The search and rescue (SAR) operation continues for an 18-year-old male youth who fell into the Kuala Baram river on Monday evening.
Lutong Fire and Rescue station chief Henry Jugah said that the operation resumed at 8.30 AM today after being postponed at 8 PM last night.
“The incident was reported at 6.38 PM, prompting an immediate dispatch of a rescue team to the scene.
The victim, identified as Japar James Tedong, reportedly fell off a platform after bathing.
Eyewitness account revealed that the victim was only wearing shorts during the incident. -TVS
